COMBINED EXPATRIATE RESIDENCE PERMIT AND ALIEN CARD
A combine expatriate residence permit and aliens card, also known as a CERPAC, is designed for foreign workers to take up employment in Nigeria for a period exceeding 90 days and up to 12 months. In order to qualify for a CERPAC, host companies must be in possession of a valid expatriate quota approved by the Ministry of Interior. Applicants can only apply for this permit if they hold a job title that is available on the expatriate quota. Applicants must also obtain a Subject-to-Regularization Visa (“STR”) to enter Nigeria and submit their applications for a CERPAC at the Nigerian Immigration Services.
