The visa category allows the holders thereof to lawfully accompany their spouse while they are on a work assignment in Nigeria. It is important to note that Nigeria does not recognize life partners, and, thus, this visa may only be obtained if you are married. This visa category may also be applied for dependent, biological, or adopted children who wish to accompany their parents. Applicants must obtain a subject-to-regularization visa at their nearest Nigerian diplomatic post, which is converted to a combined expatriate residence permit and aliens card in-country. Copies of marriage and birth certificates will be required as part of the application process.
